(Our lovely barn)
We had our first proper family holiday to Cornwall in September.
We stayed in a beautiful barn conversion in Launceston. The place was very luxurious and Dan was very happy when the weather got cold enough for him to light the wood burning stove! Our barn was on a small farm and overlooked a field of cows which Nyah thought was great. Although Launceston itself was nothing to write home about it was a good base for exploring Cornwall.
We had our first trip to the Eden Project which was great and spent a fantastic day at Newquay visitng the Zoo and Aquarium before going on to Crantock Beach. Crantock Beach has to be the most beautiful beach either of us have even seen with miles of gorgeous white sand and hardly anyone there. We did almost lose out beach tent when the tide came in a little faster than we had anticipated but luckily some passers by rescued it for us - we were far to busy having fun in the sea to notice it drifting off!
It was an eventful week and at times quite stressful with Nyah developing the 'terrible 2's' tantrums but all in all we enjoyed it and Nyah loved having us both around to spoil her.
